Playing with paint – Art days at Greatcombe
The main objective of the day is to have FUN!
We shall explore colour and texture and play with some of the ways of applying paint to a surface.
The day is not intended to be an Art Master class but more of a shared experience allowing you to tap into your creative side, to overcome any fears around “doing it wrong” and to simply enjoy playing with paint. We shall use scrapers and brushes, squeegee bottles and rags and even ‘throw’ paint to gain that extra sense on letting go and creating energy.
Things to bring: Rough clothes/apron/over shirt. Any pieces of material or jewellery etc that you might like to incorporate into your work. Individual dietary requirements.
Order of the day:
10-10.30am: Arrive, meet and greet coffee and cake.
10.30am – 1pm: painting including starting final piece
1-2pm Lunch Vegetarian soup, homemade bread, cheeseboard and salad. Tea/coffee
2-4pm: More painting and finishing your final piece. Home
£75 including lunch, coffees and cake, plus £10 for use of any extra materials and a box canvas to take home. £30 Deposit to be paid in advance cash, cheque or PayPal
